Hello my lovelies
After a couple of weeks of radio silence, I can finally tell you where Deha Visuals is currently located and a little bit about what I am doing. Up till now I have been having a few days to myself to reboot and unplug. This included a few days in Bangkok, an epic train ride and a week or so in Koh Samui.
As I write, I am in Koh Phangan, Thailand. I am about to start day 3 of a one month intensive yoga retreat here at Agama Yoga. This promises to be very intense with 6 or 7 hours of theory and practice 6 days a week, so I am looking forward to the knowledge and progress which I will be making in such a short time with regards to my own practice. This will be a huge help in my journey to undertaking my Yoga Teacher Training course – which will hopefully be next year.
I won't forget about photography, of course. I will be photographing the yogis I meet along the way and documenting our journey. As you can see, I have been able to take some photographs already with a couple of yogis on Koh Phangan, more of which you will see on my social media accounts.
For me, this has been both about work and personal development. I am lucky enough to be able to combine work and play in yoga practice and photography, which is hugely exciting for me. I am able to travel and meet and photograph yogis on a different continent, and also further my own physical and spiritual practice alongside this. This has been particularly important for me as I have had a lot to process to even get to this point.
Most importantly, I am happy to say that I am happy and feel like I have much more direction than I have had in previous years, so I look forward to seeing how this manifests itself in my work moving forwards.
So until next time: May you be happy. May you be well. May you be free from harm.
